Career Highlights

Born in Diriamba, Nicaragua, Jimmy moved to Toronto, Canada at the young age of 11. At the age of 18, a two-year tennis scholarship was awarded to him to attend the College of the Desert in Palm Desert, California. During his training at the California school, Jimmy won his first team State Championship Title and Team MVP. Jimmy continued his education on a tennis scholarship to the University of North Alabama. Since UNA, Jimmy has proven to be one of the nation’s premiere junior coaches. With 17 years of experience, his proven track record speaks for itself. During his coaching career, he has trained eight members of Team USA, eight WTA/ATP players, the 2008 Jr. Orange Bowl Champion, numerous national champions, as well as fourteen players ranked in the nation’s top ten within their respective age division. His results are in part to a creative philosophy and innovative style of coaching called the ACE System. The single most important achievement in his coaching career has been the opportunity to help shape the lives of athletes on and off the court.
